WordBuddy now has many languages, many of which have ample dictionaries for looking up words (English, Japanese, German, Chinese, Arabic, Persian, Dutch, Greek, Portuguese...). However other languages have far fewer.
If you are studying a language for which WordBuddy does not have many words/definitions and would like to augment the dictionary from an open-source dictionary that you know about, please let us know and we will assist you with adding the words. |

Marc,
Got a quick question for you. Is your site offer any reading material in both Chinese and English? I am looking for some simple stories for my kid who is learning Chinese now. Thanks |

Hi Summer-
No, Wordbuddy doesn't provide reading material. However you can use the web page translator to learn vocabulary from any Chinese short story website that you are on. (In the menu: Dictionary > Web). Combine WordBuddy with a tool like "Chinese Pera-Kun" (a Firefox Addin) to make reading & studying from web pages easier. |
