The dictionary has this defined as 'a radian'. Is this simply a mathematical term? Maybe someone could provide a more detailed definition.

its a radian...yep like the mathematical term. my dictionary says "弧“ by itself means "arc" (as in arc of a circle), du is degree, so 弧度 is a radian of a circle. however did you come across this word?!

It was in a comic book I was reading, so I didn't think that they would get so mathematical. hehe. The sentence was 飞蛾会以发光物体为圆心，以固定的弧度与角度采取螺旋方式飞行。
