The TV series is science fiction,which is similar to "X Files". I've just watched the season one, but i deeply attracted by the plot, and every episode get you surprised.

Yes, there are a lot of good storylines there... Scully and Mulder have a lot of understated wit going on between them. If you like Mulder (David Duchovny), he's also in a more recent series that is very good (at least Season 1) called 'Californication'. Quite a bit more racy compared to X-Files, but his character still has a similar laid back personality.
